As part of a visit to meet constituents in Stockport on 30 August, I spoke to Stephen Nolan on BBC Radio 5 Live about the manufactured hysteria surrounding no deal and the project fear tactics being used, most recently around prorogation.
Beyond Brexit, I am also committed to NHS dentistry. I opened NHS Dentist in Fulham 20 years ago
and we have seen 130,000 patients since then.
We have 14 surgeries and see close to 300 patients every day. It’s not reasonable that patients can’t find
an NHS dentist, we need to make the NHS attractive to dentists again.
The Blackpool Gazette reported on my visit to Fleetwood to welcome a new elected politician to the Brexit Party fold.
“Councillor Rachel George, who represents Pharos ward on Wyre Council, was formally welcomed to the party by North West Brexit Party MEP Henrik Overgaard-Nielsen at the town’s Strawberry Gardens pub yesterday.
“Mr Overgaard-Nielsen said: ‘I’m delighted Rachel has decided to come over to us and I have no doubt she will be a tremendous asset. It takes courage to leave a party after being a life-long supporter.'”
